Turning 16 and want a dinner party?? help!?

I do this every year for my birthday! You have 2 options with 1.Pick your favorite place to eat and see if you can reserve a table or back room for everyone or 2. Have a pot luck dinner at home.

If you go with option 1 just do what i did. Send out fb invites to everyone you want to invite and then text any non fb friends you are inviting. I always go to mexican since it's fairly cheap (depending on how fancy or where you're at) and they have rooms and lots of tables for setting up for big parties. Let them know in advance you're coming once you get a final count of who is attending since some places will allow you to reserve tables for free. Or just show up early if it's a busy night so you can get your table set. No, when you're going out and inviting people they should know already that you are not paying for them. They will pay for themselves, but if you feel the need you can nicely slip in "be sure to bring your money for some good eating!" or something lame and cheesy haha

if you go with option 2 you can do the invites and just have everyone bring something. You could supply the main course like pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers, or maybe even order enough take out from a restaurant to serve as a main course and have everyone bring drinks and chips or other side dishes. That was what I always did when I was a teen. I'm 24 now and I'm thinking about doing this again if I can get my own place within the next year lol

I hope this helps and happy sweet 16 in advance :)

Ok so my birthday is coming up and I wanted to get a group of friends and go out to eat on the weekend. My friend did this and she invited like 50 people and they all went to a restaurant. I'm not inviting that many people, just like 15 or 20! So how can I plan this out? Am I expected to pay for everyone? Please help!
