party..
golf club is a good ideal, bakery lesson(like share each other recipes or what),make friends, play games
have cocktail..make it like hotel party style
hosting..
You should be proactive, show enthusiasm and be sensitive to our friends needs like food allergies, vegetarian etc.
welcome them warmly and make them feel important
address them by their names and show them respect
take care of their needs, putting their interest first
warm smiles friendly and courteous greetings will create a pleasant experience
receive and return the gifts or anything with two hands
bend down gracefully to pick up any items from the ground
stand up straight when welcoming your friends on arrival
use open palm gesture to direct to toilet for example
be mindful of your and your social circles behavior cuz base on my experiences when I mixed around the person idk,it make me uncomfortable..like some will make friends straight and some don.
Always have good music, maybe make a playlist with friends, at least they'll like it! Food is always key, maybe do a sort of buffet thing? Afterwards, for drinks cocktails are always popular (non alcoholic if you want). You should organise a few games or quizzes that are linked to your costumes, it would be fun. Decoration on walls. Depending on where you are and the weather, you could plan to do it outside, then you could decorate bushes, flowers etc... If it's inside, banners, balloons, all the usual stuff.
Hope you have a great time :)
Well I like your Idea, but you have to figure of all of the people how many are going to want to invest in outfits?
I think being Feb. I would go with a beach themed party to change things up. You can get lei's for penny's and give them to guest.

pizza
chicken wings
chips with dips
cake
ice cream
drinks
alcohol
My 13th birthday is in February(I like to start planning early). I was thinking of having a masquerade party. I am starting high school this year, and I only know a few people, so I was thinking of inviting all of the people in my home group and maybe a few from out of school, so there will be about 20-35 people. My aunty is the functions manager at a golf club so I was thinking of having it there. It's going to be fancy dress and masks(obviously).
Does anyone have any tips or other ideas? Hair and makeup, activities, how to be a good host and any other tips would be greatly appreciated :)
