But, I think a picnic party is cool. A local park would be good...someplace with spots for picinic blankets or tables. Then play frisbee or toss or something.
A bbq is good too. I love water gun games and you could certainly do that. With a bbq you can do lots of non alcoholic slushee drinks. Sometimes at 16 it's fun to do silly things we liked as kids too. Play some old fashioned backyard games such as horseshoes, ring toss, etc.
I also LOVE carnival parties! You can rent sno-cone and cotton candy machines and Oriental Trading have tons of games and cheap ideas.
Not sure where you live and what is around but here goes; a indoor water park, a laser tag place, a go-kart racing place, mini-golf , a local zoo, an video arcade, a party at a theater and then a movie, or a Chinese buffet then a movie, go see a local play (maybe a teen theater) , any indoor archery rangers, a shooting range (if your in to guns) or even a paint ball place. A tennis party, then a bbq after..........
A few drinks with friends and a bbq can't be beaten maybe buy some fun drinking games my fave drink on a warm summers day is vodka slush puppies, Google some cocktail recipes for you and your friends to try, skittle vodka and jelly shots are also fun to make
With my experience i can share with you that if you will get a bbq party that will be so fun. So i hope you will enjoy your party...
A few drinks and food.
I want to have a party with just some close friends (4 boys, 6 girls) but I really don't know what to do. There's no amusement parks where I live. Also I'm not up for having a pool party. It's gonna be during the summer if that helps.
