Does the prospect of early-onset Alzheimers, Parkinson's disease, cognitive difficulties, memory loss, and similar conditions have some appeal for you?
If so, my lad, then boxing is for you.
What's that you say? Haven't been paying any attention to the news lately? Hadn't heard about the big scandal with pro football and the whole "League Of Denial" thing?
All the heavyweight medical authorities warning about the danger of head trauma and concussion-related injury?
Did you think old-time fighters just invented the term "punch drunk" for fun?
Wake up. Do some research.
You should do it. Have a martial arts background will help you on starting late. You really get to work on your arms and that sort of things. Endurance is the key. But if you are fast that is works. I wouldn't know if you would enjoy boxing or not, I've never taken martial arts (my legs are pretty week, I can't kick crap) but I thoroughly enjoy boxing. I think that it would be easy for you. Sounds like it at least.
Im tell you a secret......It's all about REACH.You got reach advantage you are 20% more likely to win.Floyd Mayweather reach is freakish.
You already asked this.
So, i've done martial arts for well over half my life, some school wrestling for a while, and i really enjoy fights. I consider myself to be a very good sparring opponent and im approaching the prime of my physique, age wise. I'm 16 years old, about 5'11 186 lbs. I have a lot of muscle mass and a healthy layer of fat. My endurance isnt too amazing but that can be fixed. I just want to know if you someone has insight on whether or not they think i would enjoy boxing? Martial arts is a big part of my life and i think it might make up for the fact i would be starting a little late
