Should I let my daughter start kickboxing or boxing?

If she really wants to do it, you should probably let her. Besides, would you like your daughter to be able to stick up for herself if someone wanted to harm her because that's what the case could potentially be if you do let her start. It'll also keep her fit and boost her confidence. Btw just cause she might start a fighting style like boxing or kickboxing doesn't mean she'll come home with a black eye or broken nose every week. Boxing and kickboxing has a lot of structure behind it when training so I'm sure your daughter will be fine

Kickboxing

Training in martial arts is always a positive for kids, but head shots and brain trauma is another question altogether. I wouldn't allow it, I have five daughters and each has had varying degrees of martial arts training, but I shied away from full contact punching and kicking. The risks outweighed the gains for me and my family. In the end, the choice is entirely up to you, but I say no.

Yea totally its a sport it will not only make her stronger but I've noticed that when your in school and play sports it makes you more determined in school and nobody would even mess with her at school and not to mention the lessons are free

Kick boxing, cuz kicking and wrestling is best for defense. While boxing is good for offense.

My daughter is 12 years old and she really wants to start kickboxing or boxing she is really strong she can lift her dad and he is 250 pounds she is 5 feet 6 inches and she weighs 180 pounds and my husband's friend owns a gym and will let her do kickboxing or boxing for free and she is fine with being punched/kicked in the face and she does not care if she gets hurt do you think I should let her start kickboxing or boxing
