Should I injure myself to get out of basketba season?

"Never give up!"

Just practice so you won't be terrible. If you practice really hard you won't be the star player, but youll get put in the ga,es and you'll be okay. And trust me basketball is one of those sports that if your not into it can be pretty boring, but really get into it and itll be a lot of fun. And don't hurt yourself! Besides something that will last a while would have to be something like breaking an arm or leg.

If its humiliating being a bench warmer as well.... then just quit. At leased the humiliation will go away eventually. If u continue to play ur gonna continue to be humiliated.

There is nothing wrong with quitting. If they were truly your friends they would understand. Just say you no longer enjoy the sport as much as you used to.

Don't waste a season on the bench- its OK to quit. Find another sport you enjoy more.

You should just quit because it would most definitely be much more painful to hurt yourself. Just quit.

um no self inflictions please. you have to decide. you signed up for bball knowing the possibilities. you either need to be committed or be honest and tell the coach. people will admire you for putting yourself out there.

I hate basketball season, I'm a benchwarmer but I can't quit because I would be humiliated. But I'm humiliated when I warm the bench too. It's my senior year, but I honestly see no benefits in pursuing it. Also, what would be an injury that would get me out for 2 or 3 months? Thanks, please don't judge.
