anyways Basketball is cool but there are millions of kids trying to play
basketball the odd are very low you will make a career of it.
Boxing if you train very hard and can hang with the big boys in sparring
you have a very high chance of making a career out of it, when you fight
in amateur fight you wont be fighting anyone more than 5 years older than
you. than you can go pro and make money. not as much as a average NBA
player but you will have a career. only the best of the best make as much money
as a average NBA player. but if you make it big, no NBA player can make
more money than Mayweather Pacquiao or dela hoya.
unfortunately for you, you would have to fight in heavyweight division and heavyweights
aren't in demand in boxing right now. Boxing is a small man sport now.
You are tall and that puts you in a tough position, 6'5" is tall but not enough like 6'9"
to say go all in and ball out and forget boxing.
If I were you I would do the sport that benefits me in other ways and is usefull
like boxing is usefull if you get in a fight, you cant dribble or dunk your way out
of a brawl.
so if a had to choose for you which sport Between Boxing and Basketball.....
I would choose...... Football (surprise)
You have higher odds at you height playing football
and more career opportunities in NFL
Than Boxing, Basketball Combined
Basketball
Do boxing. Being 6'5" at your age means you'd still be growing at least a couple or more inches, and that's a rarity in boxing so you'll have a distinct advantage.
Basketball would be my first guess. Being tall and strong doesn't mean you're a natural fighter. A lot of people have power, but how good is your chin? You have to be able to take it and not just dish it out.
You're too late if you want to pursue a career in any of them!
Boxing man do it big homie
I'm 16 6'5 and very strong and I love both sports. The problem with boxing is I have to fight people older because no one is my size and I love in a huge city. I want to know which I could pursue a career in I'm good in both sports.
