Your father's platitudes aside, its not always about heart...thats a nice statement from the movies. Yes, your voice has just as much right to be heard as the person next to yours...and yes that sometimes comes with consequences...and sometimes those consequences are harsh.
But the truth is, there is no way that you can escape thru this life without taking some kind of beating, physical, emotional or mental. The inevitable fact is that you will get hurt by something or someone along the way. The question you have to ask yourself is: Whats doing more damage to you, the actual getting hit, or the fear you suffer from worrying about it all the time?
But if you have fallen down and skinned your knee you know that pain, no matter how great, eventually subsides. Perhaps you should embrace your fear and call it for being the liar it is. Should you get hit? Hey worse things have happened to people and they survive..
....THAT is the human condition.
Have confidence in yourself, don't anyone whether it be a adult or your friend walk over you. Stand up for yourself and make everyone see it. Let them know your not a push over, and once they know they weren't try to hurt you. Now if your having trouble focusing on your life because your afraid people are going to hit you, you may have a little bit of trauma. If it makes you feel safer ask your dad for self defense classes.
u sound like u may have post traumatic stress disorder,
You're already gonna start with your little b*tech questions again
Showing fear is something I was taught not to do. Fear makes you weak. And in a fight, the opponent will feed off that. You just have to stand up. Be more confident. Listen to Kenton's advice.
I'm always scared someone is going to hit me or something. How do i not be scared of anyone? i mean we're all human right. My dad said it's all about your heart son. what do i do?
I mean we're all human right
