The boxing world mourns the loss of another of it's greats, Tommy was as good a puncher as any in his era and left his mark on boxing in a manner that will grace highlight reels for decades if not centuries. AIDS is still a world wide problem, and Morrison's name is added among the millions who have have died as a result of that tragic plague. Our prayers and condolences go out to Tommy's family and may he rest in peace.
Yes, RIP Tommy. He pretty much had all the tools to unify the Heavyweights, but he squelched his chances on booze, drugs, and hookers. He had all the talent to win. He just didn't have the attitude or the altitude.
Tommy had the boxing word by the b---s, but outside influences prevented his greatness. R.I.P.
