Punch bowl or juice boxes for kids birthday?

Birthdays are special and 6 yrs old is not too young for punch in a bowl.

You will be there to supervise :) If it were toddlers I would say juice boxes definitely.

Have fun! ! ! !

It is not the mess you should worry about. it is the accident that might happen with the punch bowl if it left unattended because messiness can be prevented if you have an outdoor party but accidents do happen especially with children and birthday party is like steroids to them.

So juice box seems a good idea, just make sure get a fancy one you know with a cartoon or funny shape and what not :-)

Why not save the idea of punch for your son's 16 year old party, and do juice boxes for your 6 yr old son now? I think the punch will spill and stain there shirts....

Skip the punch and serve the juice boxes

well i think shopuld use jucioe boxes will be better

My son is turning 6 and we're having a shark theme birthday party. I found a neat idea for "Shark chum punch" that has frozen fruit floating on the top (strawberries, blackberries, etc.) and I was going to use a Cherry apple juice with sparkling water for the punch. I was just concerned about the mess factor? Not so much what I have to clean up, but about kids getting on their clothes and staining. Should I offer juice boxes as well for those that prefer a self contained beverage? Or skip the punch all together. This is our first really big kids party, and I just wasn't sure what other parents normally do, or what's irritating :-) Thanks
