go big. thats all i gotta say.prom after parties are always the best. and make sure everyone actually changes. if youre doing the bonfire. I went to after party my freshmen year and it was in the woods,with a giant bonfire. I'll tell you my after party yellow dress is still trashed. lol. Inside is good though, play beer pong. do a tourney.and actually have stuff set up to do. Who doesn't like drinking games? And have stuff planned out for people who aren't drinking. I always had house parties in high school,and i always made everyone food.

If alcohol is going to be served, then there should be way for those that do indulge to get home safely. You don't want'any accidents attributed to someone who attended being intoxicated behind the wheel of a car.

If the attendees will be coming directly from the prom, then having a bonfire with people in formal wear is really not a good idea(unless, your attendees will be changing their clothes before coming).

I'm hosting an after party at my house and about 30 people are coming. There will be alcohol but like 1/2 will probably drink(were not crazy). Any ideas on what to do? I'm thinking of blasting music in one of the rooms and having a bonfire in the back yard. Any other ideas?
