As somebody who eats, breathes, and sleeps boxing, I am very confident that Floyd Mayweather will win this fight fairly easily. There are several dynamics involved here, but I will try to cover the basics. First: Intelligence: Ring intelligence is perhaps Floyd Mayweather's greatest asset. Whatever game plan his opponents may have coming to the ring eventually go out the window as Floyd adapts, reacts, and adjusts, effectively neutralizing any strategy. Second: Speed. Canelo is not a slow fighter, but he definitely does not possess Floyd's speed and quickness. The punches that hurt the worst are the ones you don't see coming. And lastly Defense: How frustrating must it be to be the harder puncher in the ring but unable to land anything meaningful? I suspect Saul Alvarez will be able to answer that question for us Saturday night. Floyd wins a lopsided Unanimous Decision, or Canelo's stamina problems coupled with much punishment being absorbed at the hands of Floyd will cause this fight to be stopped by TKO/KO.

Floyd Mayweather vs Saul Canelo is going to be simmilar to George St Pierre vs Carlos Condit.... Canelo is going to give Floyd a hella of a fight but Floyd is def going to fight back and is gonna figure him out one way or another... Canelo seems pretty serious about this fight and seems to have great heart and tremindious confidence, it's def putting Floyd's legacy at a great risk..

The only way that Canelo has a prayer is if he catches Floyd with something really big, which I just don't see happening. I watched Mosley vs. Alvarez for the 1st time last night and though Mosley fought well he is way past his best this fight tells me clearly why the Mayweather team accepted this fight

Canelo. Theres something you don't know, when it comes to boxing tournaments like this, people could pay for Canelo or Mayweather. And since Mayweather is on his way to retirement, they might pay Mayweather 200,000,000 million dollars so he could pretend to lose. It's very like that they wont do this to Canelo because he's barely starting. And people bye the fight for Canelo, then people could bet whatever they want and they know Canelo is going to win. Mayweather will win every round. Once Alvarez tastes a few counters, and knows every time he throws a punch, he'll be punished for it, his aggression will diminish.
