Poll: Fighter of the Year?

I've got to give it to Floyd Mayweather. The thing I think hurts Mayweather the most is that people just expect him to win, point blank period. So in thinking in that type of way, they might just brush May's wins off their shoulders. I've seen it first hand where I'm from. I don't know what the conversation is like everywhere else. He's just raised the bar like that.

Guerrero hadn't lost in seven years prior to being dismantled by Floyd , and then he went and beat Canelo who was undefeated, and touted by many and most as the main man to beat at the jr. middle division (where as I always have and still think Lara is). I am not the consensus though..and that's not even important..... People are trying to say he's ducking GGG now for Christ's sake.

Let's not forget he's doing the things he is doing right now at 36 years old. Think about that for a minute.

Floyd gets my vote.

Guillermo Rigondeaux is fighter of the year for me, Schooled a top 10 p4per and future HOFer and is now gonna face one of the top 10 bantamweights.

Floyd mayweather defended his title against his #1 mandatory Robert " The Ghost " Guerrero and then he beat the undefeated Saul " Canelo " alveraz in impressive fashion. This will be my pick for fighter of the year. {;'}.

Floyd gets my pick, but Rigondeaux and Mikey Garcia are also deserving.

My pick would probably be either Stevenson or Bradley.

BRADLEY had the best year.

1. GGG

4-0 this year winning all 4 fights by KO/TKO. 2 of the 4 opponents ranked top 10 (Macklin and Stevens). 160 WBA and IBO champ.

2. Floyd Mayweather

2-0 this year defending his 147 WBC title against mandatory challenger Robert Guerrero and winning WBA, Ring and WBC Jr Middleweight titles against #1 ranked undefeated Jr Middleweight champion Saul Alvarez.

3. Danny Garcia

2-0 this year defeating former champion Zab Judah and defeating #1 ranked Jr Welterweight fighter Lucas Matthysse, a fight where Garcia was the underdog. Ring, WBC and WBA Jr Welterweight champion.

4. Adonis Stevenson

3-0 (so far) this year winning all 3 fights by KO. KOd lineal Light Heavyweight champion in round 1. Dominated former IBF light heavyweight champ Tavoris Cloud. WBC, IBF and Ring champ.

5. Timothy Bradley

2-0 this year participated in a fight of the year candidate with current WBO Jr Welterweight champ Ruslan Provodnikov and defeated future hall of famer Juan Manuel Marquez in the second defense of his WBO welterweight belt.

6. Anybody I didn't mention?
