Please help me with my back handspring!?

First of all It is not a big difference between hard and spring. Lock out your arms by your head and start your BHS with your arms down by your side so it doesn't throw you off. Be confident before you go imagine yourself doing it perfect. Warm up before you go on definitely. Oh and keeps your legs together and make sure you jump at the beginning.

The spring should help you! Just be confident and go in saying I know I can do it! Just keep your knees and elbows strong

Go to fitforafeast youtube channel or website.( they have really good tutorials)

Try doing back walkovers then try doing it with your legs together.

Try to relax and practice practice practice! And video your self to see what you need to improve.

I hope this helps and win the compitition!!! :)

Don't think about it.....the worst that will happen is a few bruises know that

I have a cheer competition tomorrow and I need to do a back handspring but I don't think I can do it without a spotter I'm SOOO nervous. It's for my high school team so we have been practicing on mats that don't have spring and the competition will be on spring floor. I have done it by myself on spring floor at a gymnastics place but that was in the summer so I don't know if I will be able to do it now... Does anyone have any last minute tips that will help me hit it? (And maybe tips for not being so nervous!) Thanks!
