Plastic jars for candy buffet?

It won't look cheap or bad. You can decorate the plastic jars with some fluorescent colour paper. The rest is fine. Happy Birthday to your 4 year old.

Hello I'm planning a karate/Asian theme bday party for my soon to be 4year old. I want to have a candy buffet with the colors red, black and gold. I know normally apothecary jars would be used but I feel more comfortable with plastic for the kids. I found some nice ones at my local discount store. They look similar to these...

They have white screw on tops and are good quality I have about 12 in different sizes 1/2 gallon, gallon, 2gallon and a few small ones all diff ounces. I want to know opinions on if you guys think it'll look really cheap and bad? How can I decorate/ set up jars? What candies should I use for certain shapes? (There will be a platter of chocolate cover fortune cookies in the front middle and cupcakes on the side). Thanks for your help guys. I want it to look really nice as it the event will be held in a nice sized gazebo in a nearby park and besides lanterns I haven't found much decoration.
