Since you will probably have a hard time cooking , making some of these ,than you might wanna invest and spend some cash and buy these instead.
What about the food though ,people want food esoecially the adults.
Kinda hard to think of food thats pink.. You might wanna try food coloring. And add it to foods such as rice , patatoes, foods like that.etc
You can also consider pink Tamales. In spanish they are know as tamales de dulce.. They are pink tamales which are pink and sweet.
You can buy those too.
If not like i said you can cook your own food with pink coloring. It will usually work on certain foods .. Usually starchy foods like patatoes, or rice. No soupy foods or meats i think.
Food colouring works. And i dont think it affects the flavour overall.
Popcorn: dip in white chocolate, and then add pink sprinkles
Jello: Mix in whipped cream after cooled
Cake Pops: make a cake, mix frosting in with it, coat in colored chocolate
there is pink popcorn you can buy,
How about pink mimosas too and maybe pink cupcakes. And roll into the party inside a pink truck tire, pop out and the party begins
mix the pink food colouring and oil that you cook the popcorn in, that'll work. watermelon jello looks sort of pink. pink candy floss is a good one.
I am planning my niece's first birthday and it is a princess theme party.
There will be kids and adults.
I am looking for ideas for pink themed food that is easy to make and not expensive. I am terrible at cooking and baking so please no cupcake suggestions etc because that will just fail in an epic way lol.
I was thinking pink jello however: I dont know how to get the pink colour and also, I can only use vegetarian/halal/kosher jello and I cant seem to find any that would give me a pink colour.
There will be popcorn...should I sprinkle it with pink food colouring? Does that effect the taste? Will it work?
Any other suggestions or ideas?
Also: no alcohol.
