Party planning, need help!?

Posted at: 2015-04-20
I'm having a small party Friday night. I have all my decorations, games, and etc. I need some ideas on food to have at the party. Any suggestions?

Finger foods are always fun, because you and your guests will have lots of choice, and everyone can eat as much or as little as they want. Also, they can be ate with the fingers and not many dishes (mainly just the serving dishes and a plate per person) ...

Here's a little blurb from the Wikipedia article, 'Finger Foods':

'In the Western world, finger foods are often either appetizers (hors d'oeuvres) or entree/main course items. In the Western world, examples of generally accepted finger food are miniature beef pies, sausage rolls, sausages on sticks, cheese and olives on sticks, chicken drumsticks or wings, spring rolls, miniature quiches, samosas, sandwiches, Merenda or other such based foods, such as pitas or items in buns, bhajjis, potato wedges, vol au vents, several other such small items and risotto balls (arancini). Other well-known foods that are generally eaten with the hands include pizza, hot dogs, fruit and bread.[3] Dessert items such as cookies, pastries, ice cream in cones, or ice pops are often eaten with the hands but are not, in common parlance, considered finger foods. In East Asia, foods like pancakes or flatbreads (bing 饼) and street foods such as kebabs (chuan 串) are often eaten with the hands.'

Good luck with the party! :)

It depends how old you are if you can have alcohol and such, something everyone from adults to kids can enjoy is, put out some crackers with some cheese spread, go down to Buffalo Wild Wings and get some wings, tortilla chips with salsa, Doritos, Cheetos, slices of different cheeses, and get some beers if your old enough.

Since not knowing the age of the people involved it is next to impossible to answer your question. Just simple finger foods and soft drinks are always good. Get a good cookbook for age appropriate people and you are in business.

Good luck, have fun and God bless.

If you are in the greater Dallas area, try a Fruit Cascade. They are fun and functional.

Go out to some hill stations dine out have some music and enjoy..:)

Theme? Age group? Where do you live? What's your budget? How many people?
