I think you should do something like this http://www.orlandofamilymagazine.com/wp-... but make it a little more adult colored.
You could have tumbler cups for them to take home, the birthday cake in the middle on a colorful platter or cupcake platter, or individually wrapped cupcakes, small floral bouquets, ballons and ribbon tied to the back of the chairs, streamers, colorful plates and silverware, and much more. Pintrest has a lot of ideas for cheap, do it yourself decorations.
i'm turning 18 and having an informal birthday party during lunch at a restaurant this weekend with about 7 of my friends. the restaurant is a simple cafe like establishment and i'm reserving a separate room for my party/lunch. i'm planning to decorate the room with balloons, but i'm not sure if i have to prepare any party favors. to be honest, there isn't even a theme. there will be cake and possibly a few birthday gifts. we graduated from high school on friday and this is probably the last time we'll be eating together. i have never hosted a party and i'm really not sure what i have to prepare. the birthday party will be really informal and that makes the preparation even more confusing for me.
are party favors necessary? should i still have a theme? what about name cards? please help? thank you very much :)
