A catchweight fight at 152 lbs. between the two would be very hard for Pacquiao who if we recall, balked at even making 148 lbs. at weigh in in his only fight at junior middleweight versus Margarito at catch weight of 150..Pacquiao knows very well that he would be a nuisance beyond 147 lbs. Coming in at even just 150 lbs. at weigh-in would necessitate his reducing at least two pounds overnight to hit his effective fighting weight at fight time. Coming two pounds heavier would reduce his speed and mobility and have effect on his stamina over the long stretch At his present fighting weight, Manny is already having problems with his legs. Canelo as the Floyd fight showed easily more than recovered the two pounds loss at weigh-in by fight time where he was reported to come in at full middleweight already.
Without his speed and mobility and stamina beyond 147 lbs.,or weakened by an overnight effort to lose excess poundage after the official weigh-in, Manny would be vulnerable to the bigger, stronger Canelo.
Manny does not have the defense and pinpoint punching skills of Floyd. And Canelo is no plodder like Margarito. And certainly, Canelo is not like the old, faded Oscar de la Hoya!
Canelo kayoes or stops Manny inside six rounds.
Canelo, 4th round KO. Canelo hits way harder than Marquez, if Marquez Koed Manny and Canelo hits harder than Marquez..lol 1+1 equals 2
floyd was way too fast... only shows canelo's too slow for pac...
mosley oldman's speed gave canelo a hard time, that's why floyd took the fight w/ canelo,
all he have to do is drain the kid more via catchweight to make sure he can toy the poor kid...
at 154, pac can tire canelo even before the mid rounds due to pac's relentless attacks...
canelo aint jmm who mastered pac's moves for 8 years, it's stupid to think that canelo can time pac inside 12 rounds while jmm took 8 years of 42 rounds to time pac.
pac can TKO canelo on the 9th round
