What is year 10?
What is the budget?
What type of people will be eating it?...what types of food are they used to eating?
Cold shrimp are nice with fresh lemon, optional cocktail sauces with crunchy celery, fresh cilantro, and diced fresh tomatoes.
The main course would then complement the starter being grilled fish, or fried golden brown: salmon, cod, halibut, tilapia; with either red new potatoes or wild herb rice, and either fresh green beans or asparagus both lightly steamed then drizzled with garlic-olive oil. Fresh lemon wedges and slices. The fish may optionally be steamed with slices of lemon, orange and onion.
Dessert would be choices of fresh fruit medley (pineapple, mango, blue berries, raspberries), healthy light to complement the rest of the meal, or cheesecake topping choices of blueberry, cherry, strawberries, the creamy texture to balance the tang of the other garnishes.
The consistent undertones are white, and if they choose their colors right, they will be patriotic.
If you make a risotto, you can be making the starter (prawn cocktail) and pudding (Eaton mess), in between stirring the risotto.
Herring cocktail. Herring pie with Herring mash. Herring ice cream. I like herring. is quick and simple dishes too. Hope it helps. :)
