Murder mystery party?

I'd avoid a script if I were you, since it means guests can't improvise and concoct stories like they could when given the freedom. However, you could give each of the characters a set "piece" to say, giving their version of events, and make each of their places a possible place where the murder happened e.g. the Mad Hatter's tea party, the Chesire Cat in the Duchess' house, the Queen of Hearts in her castle. You could make a room into each of these places, and hide clues there to guess the murderer. If you're participating as a character, you could ask someone else to hide these clues so you won't know where they are.

If you want to make it even trickier, you could make rounds of Alice themed trivia questions, and give these questions and their answers to the character in charge of each place e.g. a set of 5 questions based on the Queen of Hearts, given to the Queen of Hearts in her "castle"/ lawn playing croquet. She would then ask these questions out loud, and the character with the most right answers could win that clue. If you're participating as a character, you could ask someone else to make these questions and answers, so that you can play along too. You could also use a combination of both questions and hiding clues, as some people might know more about Alice than others. These clues could just be on plain paper scrolls, or more themed, like making one flamingo-shaped, putting another in the bottle that changes Alice's size, etc. These clues should make everyone a suspect, to make it harder to guess who the murderer is.

You could then, when all the clues have been found/won, ask everyone to guess at who the murderer was, here it happened and why. Then, have other set "pieces", with each character having something to say e.g. admitting that they'd fought with Alice, etc, with the last person to speak being the murderer, who admits to killing her.

For invitations, you could use scrolls of paper tied with light blue ribbon (Alice's colour) if you want it to be formal. If you want to incorporate more of the theme, you could put these scrolls in glass bottles (like the one Alice drank from) or give them to your guests with a small cake (like the one given to Alice to return her to normal size).

Well its murder mystery. Instead of 10 points I might want to snag an invite myself.

Invitations. Why not do a white cream color invitation with a big question mark on the front. a horizontal flap open. Inside it can be like.

Can you help solve the mystery. EX INVITATION:

At 2pm?

On November the 21st?

RSVP to help us crack the case.

Now Alice in wonderland, wasn't really a murder mystery but the script could be something like. So&So has managed to get lost, heres your first clue on finding her. EX CLUE:

Help Help, I'm trapped and there's so much to read, put the clue on a bookshelf. Just keep doing a series of clues until you find whoever or whatever is hiding.
