Matthysse vs Garcia. Oh boy...
I have Matthysse winning by KO after 6. Garcia is a guy that doesn't really have much variety in his boxing. He only has that left hook. He can obviously hurt you with other punches since he is heavy handed but the only real danger is his left hook. As long you as you don't just walk into him, he won't bother you with anything else.
Matthysse however, is dangerous with both hands and will come at you punching. He can apply pressure and also counter with his left hook if necessary. He always wants to rip your head off when he punches. If Garcia got hurt with Judah, what could happen with Mathysse.
I'm not counting Garcia out though. Nobody, absolutely nobody had hopes in his fight with Khan but he got in that left hook. Garcia, despite being what he is, he will pay attention to you. If you are repetitive, he will eventually get that hook in. If Matthysse for some reason, stays to one strategy, he might get countered... Who knows.
I got Matthysse by KO but if he expects that Garcia is just gonna stand and just brawl, he has a problem.

If you want to judge both Danny Garcia and Lucas Matthysse by their last fight you would have to go for Matthysse because Zab Judah was considered to be a shell of the fighter he used to be some 10 years ago while Matthysse is coming off of an impressive KO verses a top 10 opponent that was in his prime and has never been stopped.
Bothe Danny Garcia and Lucas Matthysse have good offense and both stand right in front of their opponents and they both have great chins and power ,the difference maker in this fight will be the power edge in favor of Matthysse and/or who throws the most punches and/or who deters who from throwing so many punches.
If i had to put my money on one of them i would have to give the nod to Lucas Matthysse because i think Garcia may grow weary of his power and become a little apprehensive about opening up with his offense.

Matthysee by fatality. His last 6 have been better than Dannys last 6 IMO. Dannys best win is over Khan and he went onto defend his titles against an old Morales and an Old Judah who had a name. Lucas faced a much better Judah that was younger and fresher, and lost a disputed decision, as was the same with Alexander. He showed that he can beat guys who use the ring and move and punctuated it with his win vs. Peterson. Danny does not at all move like them and is not slick.
Garcia by close UD. Danny will not be standing up there and trading KO punches with Matthyse. Danny will use his skills and talent to beat the bigger punching Argentine KO artist. Danny Garcia is smarter than his KO-filled fight record might indicate..

This!, in my honest opinion is going to be the main event on sept. 14 cause I just don't see May. Vs Can. Being as exciting as most these people think. I think it will be a cat and mouse game with a UD win by Floyd but anyways Garcia vs Matthysse! Who do you have? I think this is a 50/50 fight I think Garcia has gaps as well as Lucas as far as getting hit so I think this will go down to who has the better chin! So boxing fans who do you have winning?
