I think this fight eclipses Mayweather/ De La Hoya
The under-card will need to be very good to justify the PPV price in the US. PPV prices in the US seem to be getting out of control thanks to Mayweathers greed. In the UK we can see the fight for 10 pounds with a month long subscription to BoxNation. Froch vs Kessler on Sky PPV was 15 pounds which is the standard cost for a PPV event on Sky. So for $65-75 there needs to be one of the best cards ever seen in my opinion.
Matthysse vs Garcia is a good start but they will need to add some more big fights to the card to justify the price
That would be a fantastic card although Mattyhesse vs Garcia is a bill topping event on it's own. I still don't expect it to fetch more than the De La Hoya fight, not in this day and age of streaming and torrents and how quick and great quality they offer.
Still, the numbers will be far better than anything since I predict
To possibly break the 2007 DLH vs Money record is to have a badass undercard.

man they'll be needing a lot of reinforcement to boost up their ppv sales
besides that floyd never became the ppv king w/o the aid of other well-known fighters...
Showtime needs to earn $$$. They didn't get a dime from May vs. Guerrero so a co-main event is required to at least get even with their recent spending in Floyd.
with or without that fight on the undercard, it will be a huge PPV but with them on it, it will be a much better night.
But then again they are negotiating, but the managers said it is a done deal!!
If this happens, i think the mayweater-canelo ppv will be the highest rated, along with the highest revenue ppv ever.
