Adrien Broner will definitely need to use his speed against Lucas Matthysse ,but at the same time Lucas Matthysse will have to use body shots and tag Adrien Broner in his stationary area in order to out score Broner and keep him at bay to a degree.
I think Adrien Broner would use his faster hands and punching accuracy to out land Matthysse on to win a UD.
It would be an interesting fight. Broner with the greater hand speed and maybe a little bit more skillful but matthysse has amazing power. I think broner would try to wear lucas down and win by a UD after 12 rounds, but if matthsse could land one of those hard shots on broner then who knows. Would be a great fight.
I would love to c this fight and I would like to c broner lose, by ko or tko. Tht said, broner is still dangerous for anyone at 140 even, but the argentine is probably the best 140 fighter and best test for broner at tht weight. I dnt think broner would b afraid, but his camp might b, maybe dodging w catchweights or until lucas looks bad in a fight. Still, would make great boxing if this fight actually happpened. P.s. people please stop talking up a matthyse mayweather fight as its another typical cherry picking fight for mayweather having an undersized opponent come up in class and weight. If u want a legitimate mayweather opponent than ask for a canelo fight.
I need to see Broner improve his defense. He likes to stand and trade with guys thats one thing you don't do when you fight Matthysse. Gavin Reesse was poppin him all fight just imagine if h e got hit by the bricks Matthsse threw. Broner is still young but i give Matthysse the edge here.
ok i was impressed with lucas beating peterson! i think he can beat broner he is a good body puncher and hits hard and his chin is pretty good. The way i see if he loses is if broner just runs away but im sure he will get tag a couple times maybe wobble but i dont see broner going down but hey its boxing so anything can happen.
Who knows? Adrien Broner hasn't exactly been tested. he keeps moving up in weight and not fighting anyone. Probably because he wants to go where the money is so he is building his career off money rather than opponents.
