No its not too late. She is only 13. If she were 16 or older it would be more difficult because they start getting hip and all of their weight starts to shift downward. She should start soon while she is young snd flexible. (Many girls starting highschool have never tumbled but they learn for cheerleading and they do fine)
It is never to late to start! But it sadly is to late for her to start and compete at the elite level of compition. I would make sure your daughter knows that befor beginning. She will probably be able to compete in college if she works hard and trains a least 10 hours a week.
She's only 13. What are you concerned she's too late for? I don't get it... She's a child. Of course she isn't too late to start.
Never too late. If it speaks to her heart, then she will blossom.
But she needs to make up her mind haha, that stuff if expensive.
Let her do what she wants, so what if she's not the best. It's all for fun anyway, not like she will ever be famous for it. Just let her do it and have fun.
I have a daughter- she is 13. She recently quit dance, which she has been doing since she was 4. In 3rd grade se took a gymnastic camp and a few lessons- nothing serious. She is currently taking a tumbling class, once a week. She told me she wants to join gymnastics again, but is worried it is too late for her to start. She is hardworking and can do things like walkovers and round-offs but not much else. Please help!
