I'd say it's his second best option, but only after another fight w/ JMM.
Even though Pacquiao got completely KTFO in their last fight, the fight was GREAT and very competitive . A fight w/ Marquez makes the most sense, and by FAR the most money.
He'd get paid at least twice the money fighting JMM than he would fighting Timmy, and (as we all know) Pacquiao really needs money.
BQ: Yes. If he were to fight Marquez again and win, he's in a better position going forward.
I know a lot of people will disagree with me, but I would say no, at this late time in his dissipating career. Pac Man has lost his last two fights, the last one was lost in most severe fashion, by KO. Also as much as the fight fans are asking the Fairy Godmother for this, his physical health is at risk for you blood thirsty followers. There has been a report of some brain dysfunction after his knockout loss to Marquez. That would be like sending him out to slaughter just to quench a morbid fascination and help fill the pockets to you betting bunch. Why on earth would it be exciting to see a boxer like Manny permanently and severely impaired for the rest of his life. I would wait for his examination from a qualified physician to see if he is issued a license to fight. Would you like to see him permanently disabled like Muhammad Ali and the late Jerry Quarry, before his untimely death.
I say yes, he won't have to be worried about getting knocked out again thats for sure.. but if i was him i would stay away from marquez
Yes of course, he needs to avenge his losses and beat Floyd before he retires.
@ irene
like you want your son to join the navy seals and doesnt want to see him get hurt?
@stick
last i heard, jmm is still playin hard to get, like really hard to get...stating "what's the point of the 5th rematch?"....like as if he was winning all the rounds before that freakin KO, as if that roided 1 punch was everything after 42 rounds 8 years of epic battle against pac....
bq: is another marquez fight the only quickest way up for pacquiao?
