Gonzalez's career has never been "dead". He was holding that same title a year ago. Gonzalez has always been a decent fighter with ko power, but his chin has betrayed him in several big fights. As for Marquez, he's been a top 10 p4p fighter for a decade, his career was anything but dead. And I don't know why you're throwing in Rigo into the mix when he's not even associated with Nacho. It seems like you're just butthurt because Donaire lost.

The one thing those fights do prove is that intelligence, experience and skills trump youth and recklessness.

Mares was overconfident and neglected his defense. Gonzalez saw the opening and took advantage of it. Gonzalez was sharp and on his game, Mares was not. It sounds like you're one of those people who believes that ko punches are all a result of luck.
