When I was boxing almost all left handed fighters were converted because most professionals would not fight a lefty. Today it is common to see left handed fighters.
You could stay left or convert, which gives you a good jab and hook.
Since you have never boxed before it will be simple for you to learn either way.
No not at all. If you receive proper training and learn to use it to your advantage then an orthodox boxer will be at a huge disadvantage. So as long as you train hard and commit yourself, with a good trainer and lots of effort you will be fine
Whatever style you feel more comfortable. Sometimes left hands have advanteges over right handed boxers.
