I am a competitive cheerleader and I thing it is a great sport to do. You get a good workout whenever you go an you meet a lot of new friends that have a lot in common with you. Also, the competions are really fun and I really think you should give cheerleading a try. It is definitely worth the cost!

Lately i have wanted an extra curricular activity but i'm a soccer or baseball type of sports person and i wanted to try tumbling but the class was full so i tired school gymnastics but i really didn't like the way it was run, so when i herd about the cheerleading gym i really wanted to but, being canadian cheerleading is not like what it is in other places and cheerleading is not done through my high school but the town over has a gym and i was thinking about taking rec. classes to get a feel for if i like cheerleading or not the the head coach told me that i may get bored cause there are no children under the age of 11 in the gym rec. class and i myself am 14. Then even if i do like it the comp. team is going to cost me over a thousand dollars a year for uniforms, tuition, driving so forth so is it worth it in your opinion?
