Nah. Just because you are confident, doesn't mean you are understimating the opponent. Canelo seems to have done his homework and feels confident he can beat Mayweather. Obviously Floyd has a reputation of adapting to whatever the opponents throw at him but we can assume Canelo has a plan B, C, D, E, F, and G, and maybe a plan H. Incase this happens.
Otherwise he would be so confident. If Canelo only has plan A and B then he is clearly underestimating Floyd, other than that, Canelo is what a fighter should be. Confident in his abilities and positive he can win, regardless of opponent.
I see no problem with a confident fight. A strong mind is important before and during the fight. Canelo seems to have such. He should be ok :)
After watching the 2 All-Access episodes, I believe Canelo will lose but not embarrased like Guerrero. This could be another Castillo 1.

I think everyone underestimates Floyd Mayweather. A lot of them don't understand that you can't simply come up with a game plan for him because Mayweather adapts and throws your game plan down the drain.
