What a legend
Butterbean was a club-level fighter, and became known through tough-man and 4-round events.
If he was under-rated, he would have knocked out a 52 year old Larry Holmes in few rounds.
He was a heavy hitter, of course.
But I think Ernie Shavers legacy is safe.
Some years ago, I watched a Butterbean match and he knocked out the referee with a wild haymaker. That's perhaps the weird and wildest thing I've ever seen in boxing
Butterbean > Tyson.
The Bean's power was significant enough for Tyson to avoid him, so yes, I consider Eric a historical anomaly of sorts.
Of course not. The guys over 400lbs. Just think how much power he could generate if he put his body weight into a punch
He is just a more obese version of Tony Galento, Brian Nielsen & an obese version of Abe Simon.
Really!!!
KO artist..if he could get in-range he could knock out any heavyweight in history
What a legend
