I think a themed party is always a great idea. It shows that you put a lot of thought/effort into it and it forces your friends to get involved (dressing up is generally mandatory). Why don't you try the sleepover? A lot of the time 1/2 the people you invite can't make it or can't sleepover. People generally don't mind sleeping in their sleeping bags or on the sofa (besides the whole point of a sleepover is to NOT sleep).

For ideas for a themed part I recommend PinInterest, there is heaps of DIY stuff on there that is just perfect for a party.

Okay, so I hate making my parents spend a lot of money on me... For my Sweet 16, I want a very small party for 8-20 people. It need to be inexpensive. A sleepover could work but my house is kinda small.. I have a RV but the party would be in March and it will be VERY cold outside. What should I do for my Sweet 16? I have never had a birthday party before so I really need help.
