Ideas for Spongebob theme birthday party?

Food: goldfish crackers, use sea-themed cookie cutters to cut out small sandwiches, cheese slices and deli meat slices. Serve seashell-shaped pasta mixed with spinach linguine, and call it "Shells & Seaweed". Make "sea water" by coloring apple juice with blue food coloring or make a blue punch. Be careful with the crab salad, many people are allergic to seafood. And if it's not well stored, anyone can feel sick, so be careful not to let it spoil.

Games and activities: pass the parcel, pin the pants on SpongeBob (a version of the donkey one), musical chairs playing SpongeBob theme song, have a treasure hunt, play a variation of Simon Says with "Spongebob Says". If you want to have a treasure hunt, arrange a more elaborated one to last almost the entire party and so you will not have to play a lot of games with the kids.

Favors: Have you ever seen that pineapple cups? They're similar to this, but there are several models: http://www.partycity.com/product/pineapp...

Serve the drink in them and at the end of the party they will double as favors or give just at the end of the party, with a little surprise inside such as a themed puzzle or a bubbles bottle.

If you're not able to get the cups, print SpongeBob coloring pages and assemble a few coloring books. Here: http://www.thebikinibottom.com/

Then make kits by putting a coloring book and a box of colored pencil or crayons in cellophane bags.

Another great idea, it's a activity and also can double as favor. Give each kid a little jar or bottle (baby food jar, clear water bottle...). Provide small sea beads, glitter, water, baby oil and blue food coloring to help them in creating their own ocean in a jar. You can print out many small SpongeBobs figures, laminate them and have the kids put them loose into their oceans. Hot-glue the lids on so the water doesn't spill.

Buy a giant cake and bake a stripper into it. During the Ceremony, your stripper will plop out and spew syrup all over the birthday kids. Then, you can dance with Tony Dancerman. After that, have a giant sponge creature run in and dance with old johnny and frosty pety.

I would feed a one year old that food! Do you mean 7?

My son is turning 1. What are some food ideas, games and give-away goodie bags for kids. This is my first child by the way, so I am no expert...yet..Here is what idea I have so far:

Spongebob Cake

Krabby Patty cupcakes

Crab Salad-Calling Mr. Krab Salad

Krabby Pattys-Hamburgers

Ocean in a cup-Blue Jello w/fish crackers in it, and a pink-chocolate mold of a start fish on top.

Water balloon tosss-as a game.

Any more ideas? Thanks in advanced!
