Find a boxing gym.....than find a trainer who can train you..... trust them and follow the process
Dedicate yourself. I mean really, really dedicate. Make sure your are in absolute TOP physical shape. Run a mile in under 5 minutes and 30 seconds, 250 sit ups in a row, and 90 push ups is a good goal. After you build up endurance, start lifting weights. Make sure you get the mile down before you start lifting. Get to around 250 on bench press then start to enroll in boxing classes/ martial arts.
Stay away fro heavy weights, it will only bulk you up and slow you down. Marciano was a conditioning freak and everything he did involved getting into better condition, running constantly, running up stairs, no elevators, digging ditches was a job he had early in his teens. Lots of bends and stretches. Heavy bag work, lots of it. the uppercut bag. constant training. Even when he had not fight scheduled he, still stay in condition. sit-ups, chin ups, swat walking .....................with large grain bag across shoulders.
Beat on senior citizens.
How can I become a boxer? Like Rocky Marciano I mean..
