I would honestly say do something with your closest friends. Make it a fun day for all of you. Find things that you can take pictures of and can have memories of with your friends when you are gone. I think you should do something at home. Find recipes on the internet that look like fun. Things food wise and dessert wise and snack wise and you can make it with your friends and have fun, then enjoy the food when you are done. Listen to music and play games, have a mini dance party, etc.
I am going to Japan in August for a year, and I want something special with roughly 10 friends.
I had a swimming party last year and we went to the drive in with roughly 30 people, so my parents won't be looking to spend a lot of money.. and I am having a going away party in my backyard with about 50-60 people in august..
A few of my friends said to go to dinner down at the lakeshore, but I am not sure what to do!
Would a tea party be lame? I don't even know.. I want something cute that everyone will remember!
