I'm planning a dance?

Well, even though the s'mores dip would be delicious, it is not really ideal for a dance. You want to keep food items as easy to grab and as sanitary as possible. You don't want a bunch of kids double-dipping or scooping heaping amounts of it on to plates!

Instead, stick with things like cookies, bars, candy, meat/cheese tray, and even pizza if you can afford to do that with the budget. You can make it all "festive" by decorating the desserts, making Christmas themed candy, and decorating the plates/trays that the food is on.

I would also skip things like yogurt, jello, and trail mix...trust me when I say that no one will end up eating them and they will go to waste. If someone has the option between a cookie and a yogurt at a school dance, they are definitely going to take the cookie!

Have you thought about making peppermint bark? That would be easy to make in a big batch!

Christmas is 2 days way and you want us to believe you are just now planning a dance of all things?? Seems weird.

My school has asked me to plan the Christmas dance. I was thinking of some servings and i thought s'mores. But i thought it would be bad so i have a list of some servings i thought of i need to know if they would be good. :)

S'more dip

Candy cane hot chocolate

Sparkling water (for lactose and tolerant)

Snowflake cookies

Yogurt

Trail mix

Turkey strips :P

and Jell-o

Anymore suggestions?
