You are not an unlucky sport's fan and you shouldn't expect your teams to lose from now on. I know that lately it seem's like the Boston/New England teams haven't been doing well, but that's no reason to give up on them. Team's are not going to win every game or every stanely cup final. Be proud of our teams! Yea we might not have made it all the way recently but teams are very unique. We don't know when the time will come for teams to win the cup or win the superbowl etc. but that doesn't mean we should give up on them. I know that our teams have let us down alot, but a team can still succeed without winning a championship. You might be thinking I am crazy that in order for a team to be the best they need to win a championship, but that's not the case. I can think of multiple reason's to be proud of our teams.
1. Patriots lose to Giants in Super Bowl 46 - However went 16-0 before the loss in the Super Bowl which is an amazing accomplishment.
2. Patriots lose to Ravens in 2013 AFC Championship after leading in first half - True but they destroyed the tough Texans, destroyed the Colts, humiliated the Jets, etc.
3. Bruins throw away 2-1 series lead in 2013 SCF. Game 1: lose 3-1 lead in 3rd period, Game 6: Bruins allow 2 goals in 17 seconds, and you know the rest. - All that is true but your also forgetting what else they actually did accomplish. They shut out the Hawks in game 3. They shut out the Penguin series 4-0, They killed the Rangers 4-1. They came back in game 7 against the Leafs down 3-1 late in the 3rd.
There's a lot to be proud of for our Boston/New England teams no matter if they choke, lose, etc. They have accomplished so much that other teams in the NHL, NFL, etc. may not ever accomplish.
well, don't count out Red Sox miss the playoffs back in 2011 & 2012 when they lost 20 of the last 27 games to finish the season and lost 22 of the remaining 27 the next year. In Addition, Patriots were o fall short of reaching Super Bowl 47 and then Celtics where knocked out of the 1st Round in the 2013 NBA Eastern Quarterfinals by the Knicks.

Obviously, I like mostly Boston teams (Patriots, Celtics, Bruins). I know these teams have had their shares of success, but recently it's been choke choke choke. Patriots haven't been doing so hot in the playoffs lately, Celtics are just a mess right now, and the Bruins just threw away the Stanley Cup. I feel like each of these teams come so close to winning it all and then decide drop it in the end, leaving people like me devastated. Maybe I should just expect to lose from now on.
