1) Maybe you could ask around to see if any of your friends has a set of decent speakers they could bring along? Or if you would be willing to spend a small bit of your budget, go to somewhere like Walmart and purchase a cheap but loud set that can be connected to an iPod or something.
2) I think you'll find that when a group of teenagers get together, entertainment just comes naturally. But I get that you'd still like to provide something, so I would suggest what I did at my party last year. Go to a really cheap store and buy a few stupid kids toys, for example I had a giant inflatable football and some frisbees and bouncy balls. It sounds really babyish but it kept the boys occupied and the girls were mainly watching and chatting.
3) It sounds like you have enough entertainment for the guys if you need to go into the basement, so for the girls maybe say that they can put the TV on and watch anything they like. Young girls will mostly just talk anyway so provide a few comfy cushions to sit on. Also, bring the music down there so it always feels like a party.
I'm sure you'll have a good night - remember that teenagers aren't really too fussy about having activities to do - we are mostly happy to talk and eat and laugh. Just relax and enjoy yourself!
House parties are simple, laid-back parties to just get friends together and to have a good time. These types of parties are often thrown on Friday and Saturday nights.
Place a swimming pool, its outside so why not ?
If u go inside, play poker, thats always fun.
Create a music playlist. Spike the punch and make it clear if they wanna smoke weed they gotta do it off youre prorperty...
You don't use drink play game ,music or swimming.
no alcohol? and you really expect people to come....or to stay more than 10 minutes.
I did this before but now our interests are different. Im turning 15. the age will be 14-16. Im not doing alcohol or anything we would be underage for. I have a nice sized patio we will be using for the party it will be outside. I have tons of food and drinks planed im fine on that. But were not 12 were done with bounce arounds. I probably cant get a dj and I can probably play music but I dont have patio speakers. Im having about 20ish people over. So here are my questions.
1. What to do about that music situation
2. What on earth to do for entertainment, I need something else. I wont be doing twister or spin the bottle and we wont be by tvs.
3. If it rains(Disasterous) we go into my basement. Its very very spacious.
We have an xbox, ping pong and air hockey. other than that its empty space. What should I do in that scenario. We dont have tables and a few chairs and couches by the tv down there since we moved this past year(the rest of the house is ready we never focused there)
what i do then for entertainment
We didnt move far so people from my school this year and my old school and some other places will come. Socially during the beginning half of the year at my new school i was shy and it was a mess. Ive been to parties where people got bored or it was just weird and awkward. It killed the party. For those two reasons its absolutely crucial to me that this goes well. I love having fun. I have a fair amount but not a ton of money to spend on entertainment.
Thank you
