How to shake/pop my butt? (For cheer/dance)?

Well I do agree that you may be a little young for a provocative move like that, but that's just the way of the cheer world! Nonetheless, practice by bending your knees in a squat and putting your hands on them so you're bent over and try to move your butt and only your butt up & down by kind of thrusting your hips backwards

You could probably find a whole heap of different dance moves on youtube

My coach is changing the dance for our cheer routine and it involves a part where we shake and pop our butt for like 3 seconds. Today she tried to teach us but only like 10 girls on the squad knew how to shake their butt(20 girls in all). I'm normally point dancer so I wanna learn so I can keep my spot as point dancer. My coach told me and the other captains to go home and learn it so we can help her teach it. Any tips? Thanks! Btw I'm 13 and I'm on a senior all-star cheer team.
