How to lose weight for cheer?

You are such a liar. You said in your other questions that your mom beats you and stuff. And then in your other question you asked what to get for Christmas and you said your moms budget was 350$. Yeah it really seems like your mom hates you

three basic ways to achieve this: running, core work and dieting.

Now I am going to look at your age and say DON'T DIET!!!!!! dieting at this young an age can lead to anorexia, poor long term health and many other terrible things, so please don't :)

However it is never a bad thing to eat fewer sweets, choc and mcd's ;)

what i would recommend are the other two, the more effective and healthy methods.

1) Increased physio will increase fitness and will burn fat/puppy fat very effectively. The main way of achieving this is running. you should either train at medium capacity for medium amount of time (20-30 mins) or at low capacity for long times (30mins plus). both of these will burn fat and increase your physio which will also improve your cheer as you will be much fitter.

2)core muscular group work (mainly focusing on abs). Basically what i do at current works really well and has given me a noticeable sixpack in a month or two. Every day (once or twice) do 3 sets of 12 pressups and 12 situps. Do both of these slowly as it is more beneficial and tense your abs during the pressups so they are worked. after the second set you should fell some slight burn and the third should be painful (slightly) as you will then know you are doing it right. If you cannot do pressups then do ladies pressups but do 3 sets of 20 not 12 and when you can try to progress as it will help you much more.

HOME QURLLL DO NOT DIET! im in high school (varsity) and my flyer is 120/130 and 5'6. i know in allstar its different because the fliers are SO TINY, but you don't need to lose weight to be a high school flier!! your bases are going to LOVE you because your actually athletic and can hold your weigh (unlike the puny scrawny bitches that sometimes get to fly because they're to weak to base lololol)

some people are GENETICALLY incapable of having thigh gaps because of bone structure so chill with that. at my school (and most schools in nova) the only requirement for varsity is a BHS. we have like 3 tucks/layouts and 1 twister. you're good!

you sound fine. from your description you sound like an AMAZING cheerleader and as long as you're amazing size doesnt matter. you are so going to make the team :) but if you really insist on doing so then just run a lot and do pilates ! eat less carbs and dairy ! but trust me you are fine your weight is perfect for your height you just need more muscle to outweigh the fat :) not that you are fat because you arent at all your weight is perfect for your height but if you are complaining about having a pouch on your stomach then you probably have more fat then muscle on your body. cardio and conditioning !

Im 13 and in 8th grade tryouts for high school cheer are in may. I really want to make the varsity team. im pretty sure i can make it though. i do all star cheer and i can almost do a tuck im pretty sure i can but i just havent had the chance to try it at practice yet. i plan on having my layout by tryouts. i was also a really good cheerleader in 8th grade after every game the coaches gave out awards and i got best voice 4 times and i have really good motions and facials. i am pretty flexible so i wanted to be a flyer i am about 5'5 and 115 lbs. i kinda have a little pudge on my stomach and my thighs. i really dont get to fly on my all star team anymore cuz there are 7 yr olds on my team so im too big to fly so i really wanted to at least have a flat stomach and a thigh gap by tryouts and have abs by the time practices start. what are some ways i can do this?
