Small sandwiches will do: cucumber, smoked salmon, egg mayonnaise. Cut off the crusts and cut into 4 triangles.

Scones, fairy cakes and Victoria sponge.

SANDWICHES!

Have your staff prepare lots of lightly-buttered thin slices of bread [with crusts cut off] and fillings of: thin slices of ham; cheese; mustard and cress; nasturtium leaves; cucumbers; sliced yellow paprika; red or white radish; tinned (canned) salmon or tuna; salami or mettwurst (if you're adventurous!); well-drained baked beans and so on...

Other 'finger-food' could include grilled chicken (legs and wings),cocktail meatballs (with tomato and chili sauce available), baked cheese sticks..also have some cold scones (US biscuits) with 2-3 kinds of jam and some fresh berries and cream available...

All I know so far is that I'm having a desert served in a glass bowl which will be trifle, teacups, teapots, a milk jug, sugar bowls with different options of tea bags, then some old style glasses, two glass jugs with different kind of cocktails in, then a chocolate fountain with some victorian looking biscuits all on one table in my conservatory. What should I serve for main food? And what could I do for entertainment. I'm only having a little few friends over.
