Christianity is a lifestyle choice & yes, it does involve some rituals & some suspensions of reality, but on the whole Christians are nice people. But it also has some extremists, & some people who maybe struggle in the real world & prefer the safer world of a story book where everything has already happened.
Best advice is to show them respect but if you don't believe then quietly & respectfully stand your ground & agree to differ.
Since you do not believe in God why does it bother you that others do?
It is better to be pleasant than get into an argument when you know you will not change their beliefs.
