How overrated is Amir Khan?

i don't think naz hamed or nigel benn would call khan the first non white british boxer .

is khan overated ? well that depends on who you listen to , i rate khan as a fighter that can pick up titles against fighters outside the top 20 p4p ,never the top guy at the weight .

i actualy think that hunter has taken the last thing that made amir exciting to watch his passion .and we are left with a fighter that's not allowed to fight

Amir Khan looks weaker and smaller than his opponents because he's not doing proper weight training. If Khan fights Mayweather at a catchweight of 142 it could be a good fight ,Amir khan would probably match Mayweathers' speed and give him a good go.

Amir Khan was at his best at lightweight (135) because he was bigger and faster than a lot of his opponents ,but every since he moved up in weight to fight bigger guys he's had trouble by getting caught with big shots.

In Khans' last fight against Julio Diaz ,he got knocked down and was hurt ,but the main thing is that he got back up and found a way to get the win ,that's what true champions and elite fighters do.

In fairness, I would say that Khan is par for course compared to other big-named, high-profiled former amateur boxing stars with celebrated or quite successful Olympic stints.Like many of them, including the biggest of them all, Oscar de la Hoya, Khan was not overrated when he was winning.

He's not that overrated anymore a year or two ago he was overrated but not anymore. He does have a weak chin but good hand speed.

after his lossez he's deff not overated anymore, nobody thinks he's special he's maybe even a little underatted, Now adrien Broner he is overated

Also you gotta remember not everyone is flotyd mayweather, fighters lose. it just means his division has lots of greats. ali lost and that's when boxing was at it's most exciting

I think he honestly has a weak chin, his competition really hasn't even been all that great in my opinion. The only reason why he gets credit is due to his race, I agree 100 percent on that.

Let's face it, the only reason he is getting this much recognition is because he is the first non white British boxer. In all his matches he looks weaker and smaller then the opponent and not to mention he was a weak chin. I heard he almost face of Mayweather, but for his sake i'm glad he didn't because his career would have ended right there. Your thoughts?
