Yes it's absolutely ok to ask the guests to pay for themselves. I live out west and I've been to three bachelorette parties in Vegas. At each one we shared the cost of the room plus covered the cost of the brides. We also all paid our own bar tab plus chipped in on the brides bar tab.

Is it okay to ask for the guest to pay for themselves or at least chip in for a majority of the costs? My friend spring a last minute destination wedding on me leaving me with about 3 months to put aside some money and I'm Beyond stressed. I live in Connecticut and was thinking about going to Atlantic city. Can everyone just meet at the hotel that I choose or do I need to provide transportation from CT to NJ? Also, any ideas for somewhere fun to host a bachelorette party in Atlantic city ? We plan on partying , dancing and having a ton of fun.
