I think depending on your refrigerator and ice cream you want to do. usually about 4 hours
when I did an experiment on how long ice cream takes to melt was about 20mins in the sun for it to melt completely.
approximately 40 seconds if it is at room temperature that is 25 degrees c at 298k.
