suppose, you can lift 40 pounds, then you should lift the half of it, it means 20 pounds....or you wont grow, i mean your height..always lift the half of the heaviest..and eat alot of protein and drink alot of water....
Try lifting the Instructor & if you pass then aim for Olympics
At that age you shouldn't be powerlifting. The epiphysies of your bones are still growing and lifting can damage them.
whatever feels right. it shouldnt be to hard but nor to easy its all about what feels right!
