figure 1.5 skewers per person, if itsa lotta kids than 1.25 per person, simmer hotdogs in light beer in a disposable grill pan with onions, and take as needed, that way the hot dogs can stay warm and cook all day ,if you keep plenty of liquid in the pan, hamburgers always grill cold, at high heat!small burgers obviously grill faster and easier for you,as to how much chicken to buy, buy 1 breast and see if you get 1 or 2 skewers and than buy accordingly, marinating chicken skewers in zesty Italian dressing for couple hours before grilling keeps chicken moist, for an interesting chicken ''sauce'' on an ice bed have a bowl of equal parts of white wine vinegar and mayo mixed with salt and pepper to your taste.they do that on chicken in mobile Alabama, and itsa very good sauce.and different

I am having a BBQ for my daughter's birthday and am expecting about 30-40 people. I want to serve hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and chicken skewers. No veggies on the skewers, just 4-5 chucks of chicken per stick. How many of each entrée should I serve and how many pounds of chicken do I need for the skewers? I feel like most people are going to want chicken and few will want hot dogs but I want to make sure I don't run out of anything. Thanks for any help!
