All depends on the source.
Don't ever bother with factory raised chickens. They receive GMO food which is bad for their health, they never see sunlight, and they're raised in terrible conditions. There will be very little nutritional value to the meat.
Look for humanely raised chickens that gets at least an acre or two of grass to roam in. They'll get plenty of bugs, worms, sunlight, and everything they need to be healthy and nutritious when the time comes.
Ideally, from a nutritional standpoint the meat would be eaten raw, as the vitamins, proteins and fats are sensitive to heat in their own varying degrees; vitamins are the most easily destroyed by heat, proteins and fats are more resistant, though still prone to distortion.
Obviously you're taking a chance with your health eating raw though. If you don't want to take that chance, cooking meat as little as possible while still killing possible parasites is the best approach.
If you boil it probably harmless to eat. And healthy to eat. Raw I don't know. Rough grain, fish meal and such in it.
veg is more healthy...
