I'm throwing a shower this Saturday and want to make a watermelon bassinet for fruit salad. I've never done this before and am wondering if I can cut out the shape and scoop out the watermelon tomorrow or Friday so I have less prep work Saturday... I don't want the basket to look wilted though, any suggestions?
