If he was fighting Alexander for it then I would be confident in Brook coming back with the strap tomorrow. The problem is he's in there with a guy who beat Alexander up and smashed Malignaggi. Both of those names I've mentioned are better than every single fighter Kell Brook has on his resume and after 32 pro fights that's not good news.
It seems to me that since Porter captured the world title he is hungrier than ever to press ahead and get his opportunity of unifying the championship against the P4P king. Brook is in the way but I expect him to be brushed aside and for the Porter climb to continue.

I see this a 50/50 fight my mind changes all the time. Like yesterday i picked porter to beat brook but today i have a feeling brook might stop porter.
Kell's bodytype beats Porter's bodytype, but Porter is more meaner, and the favorite in my opinion.
And Shawn Porter struggled with Julio Diaz twice. I give Brooks a pretty good chance.
Brook is overrated, but so is Porter.
This a 50/50 fight for me. Too close for me to even consider betting on.
Imo he's overrated and nothing special, he struggled to beat Carson jones and Senchenko wobbled him
